Ordering

What is the process for Wedding/Event Florals?

Step 1 - Reach out or submit our wedding inquiry form where I will ask you your general vibe and size for the wedding/event, any other decor needs, your color palette, budget and photo inspo.

Step 2 - I will review your responses to the inquiry and get back you with an itemized quote 

Step 3 - We will set up a call to go over the quote provided and discuss any additions or  modifications needed.  Back and forth follow-up as needed. 

Step 4 -  We lock in the date and initial services contracted.  Depending on the event size, a 50% or $500 deposit, whichever is less, is required upon booking.  Any changes can be made up to 30 days of the event date.

Step 5 - An open communication line is kept, so please continue to provide any inspo photos or ideas you have!  A trial run can be provided upon request at cost - a bridal shower is a perfect opportunity for this! Any comments from the test run will be addressed/re-calculated as needed.

Step 6 - Week of the Wedding/Event, we will be in continuous contact and delivery/install will be coordinated with your wedding/event planner.   

What is your favorite style to create?

While I am happy to consult with anyone regarding their vision, my ideal client would be someone seeking a true unique, bespoke look.  To me this means anyone looking for vibes that are bohemian, whimsical, moody, garden inspired, dried, or un-classically romantic.  Give me all the contrast, texture, and creativity!  

If you’re a full time CPA, why would I use you as my wedding florist?

This is a fair question!  Yes, it’s true I have another job, but I'm a CPA/Controller at a local Nursery & Greenhouse, which allows me to be around flowers and professional horticulturists every day!  I also invested in secondary education right when I decided to launch Crescent Cottage Blooms,  which  has provided me with professional, re-watchable training and education.  These include -  Floret Online Workshop Class of 2021; The Floral Coach Bouquet Bootcamp Spring 2023; The Floral Coach Color Theory Confidence Course Fall 2023.  This combined with my naturally analytical nature means I will work with you from the start to maximize your budget and bring your vision to life!  

Do you have wedding and event minimums?
  • Full Scale Weddings will average around $4,000 - $5,000, but have a $2,000 minimum
  • A la Carte Weddings have a $300 minimum 
  • Events quoted as requested, but likely a $500 minimum unless agreed upon otherwise
I love the dried floral pieces in your shop, can they be shipped?

While I wish I could ship everything I make, everywhere…that’s not something I’ve figured out how to do successfully yet. Any dried pieces that are local pick up only will be marked as such. Anything else can be shipped with care and love from Norwalk CT with shipping costs as marked. 

Do you take custom orders for your dried pieces?

Absolutely!  Please reach out with any questions regarding customization for dried floral pieces!  I love designing based on preferred or brand colors, size, and overall vibes!  If you’re a local business, consider a large dried floral entry install!
